Our independent, professionally qualified consultants are based throughout the country and cover and specialise in a myriad of disciplines within the Human Resources Field gained from over 100 years of experience in large and small companies both in the UK and around the world. 


Karen Wright

Karen has over 20 years experience in Human Resources, she is versatile, self-motivated HR professional, with strong customer focus. An amiable individual who has a pragmatic approach, she is results driven and capable of effectively and efficiently identifying creative solutions to everyday situations, balancing the needs of both the organisation and the individuals. Her experience was founded in FTSE 100 companies but she has since worked with companies varying from the second largest in the world (at the time of going to press) to three and four people family companies. This exposure enables Karen to effectively work with staff at all levels on projects of any size.
 

Joanne Attrill
 

A  practical, enthusiastic professional Joanne has more than 15 years Senior Management experience spanning a variety of industries including Training, IT, Pharmaceutical, Financial and Investment as well as Corporate and Government sectors. Her specialisms include: HR project management, policies and procedures, employee relations, integration and harmonisation after acquisitions, organisational re-structure/changes and/or redundancies. Latterly Joanne has completed overseas assignments in the UAE and has valuable experience of the issues relating to relocating and repatriation of employees as well as the sensivities of working within other cultures.

Joanne has a BA(Hons) Combined Studies, with a Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Management and an LLM (Employment Law). She is a fully qualified Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD).

 

Susie Barker

Susie is an experienced HR consultant as well as an Organisational Behaviourist combining a practical, can do attitude with the skills associated with a Occupational Psychologist. Having worked in a variety of organisations including a background in the RAF, ASDA, logistics and financial services she has consulted in many different companies from small to medium organisations as well as blue chip companies such as Barclays, BAA and Westland Helicopters. Experience includes mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and acting as the HR programme leader. Don’t be worried that you are getting a academic Psychologist - this is definitely the best of both worlds.

 

Jane Budd

Jane has over 12 years experience as an independent HR Consultant and interim manager, with a particular focus on leading and managing the people aspects of transformational change, which she has undertaken most recently for BT, General Healthcare Group, BAA, Barclays and NESTA. Prior to this she gained 10 years practical operational experience of delivering HR strategies and team leadership as an HR Director. Jane is an HR generalist, but particular areas of expertise include: organisation diagnosis, development and design, leadership, culture and performance development. She brings clarity of thought, determination and pace of execution to complex HR challenges as well as a pragmatic, commercial approach which is highly valued by clients. She quickly establishes credibility with senior teams and builds supportive relationships with stakeholders in order to ensure that successful outcomes are achieved.

 

Sarah Cook

Sarah is an experienced and commercially aware Management, HR and Development consultant with many years experience gained in various industry sectors. Experience of enhancing organisational capability through coaching, guidance and advice at all levels. An excellent communicator with a confident and professional approach.

Simone Crawford

 Simone has over 20 years’ experience of HR and people management practices in national and global media and advertising organisations. Simone focuses on the development of HR policies and procedures in key areas such as legal compliance, employment contracts, HR policies and procedures, support and employment advice for managers, compensation and benefits planning. She is a Member of the CIPD. She has a wealth of knowledge which she puts to good use when advising on Employee Relations issues and she also devises and delivers training and development workshops covering areas such as appraisal management, and recruitment.

Emily Das

Emily has over 10 years experience in Human Resources gained in large international companies (PricewaterhouseCoopers, BP, Prudential), several public sector organisations and smaller businesses. Emily therefore understands HR issues relating to different size businesses, providing them with appropriate solutions. Emily is a flexible and self motivated HR professional with strong customer focus and highly developed interpersonal skills that enable her to work with staff at all levels.

 

Angela Peel

Angela has over 20 years' experience of HR and people management practices in national and global organisations across the private, not for profit and public sectors. She has held senior HR positions in a number of organisations as well as senior consulting roles. Angela focuses on the development of HR policies and procedures for a wide range of organisations, on organisational design projects including restructuring, business process engineering, role design and organisational change, and on assessment.

She is a Chartered Member of the CIPD, and is Level A & B qualified, using tools including the 16PF and MBTI. She is an experienced facilitator and also undertakes independent investigations for disciplinary, grievance and harassment issues. She has a wealth of knowledge which she puts to good use when advising on Employee Relations issues and she also devises and delivers training and development workshops covering areas such as performance management, discrimination and other aspects of employment law


Ray Smelt

A dedicated interim HR executive with an impressive track record of success and over 25 years experience in international blue chip companies and public sector organisations. Particular skills include strategic delivery, management of change, acquisitions, mergers and disposals, in addition to developing HR systems, job design and job evaluations, bespoke compensation and benefits strategies, performance management and leading negotiations with unions and employee representative. Broadly experienced in Global HR, with international experience in Asia, Middle East, Africa, Canada and Europe (including Eastern European States and the States of the Russian Federation). He is able to translate business strategies into deliverable HR plans and systems and to motivate and empower employees.

Frances Stubbs

A commercially focused, professional HR manager with 10+ years’ experience of adding value through the identification of pragmatic HR solutions to people and business based problems. With a background in a variety of industry sectors including Professional Services, Publishing, Loss Prevention and Retail Operations considered adaptable, quick thinking, organised, analytical and capable of managing a heavy workload to tight deadlines and budgets. Has a proven track record of delivering results using proven project management methodology through her first class relationship building, communication, influencing and presentation skills. Experienced in leading internal HR teams to deliver business transformation projects including organisation design, restructuring, downsizing, job evaluation, business relocation and integration.

Lisa Williams

Lisa has almost 20 years' experience of HR practice in national and global organisations across a range of sectors and disciplines. After brief spells in financial services, the civil service and steel trading, she moved into HR in the voluntary sector. From there she moved to the NFU - Britain 's largest trade association - before taking up a post at Novartis Pharmaceuticals. For the past 7 years she has worked as a consultant on a wide range of projects across lots of different sectors including healthcare, telecoms, publishing, technology, financial services, and retail.

She has a Masters in Strategic HRM and is BPS Level A & B accredited, using a range of assessment tools including CPI, OPQ, MBTI, 16PF and TMSDI. She is particularly interested in what makes people tick and is currently studying for a BSc Psychology.
